Don’t be the rider who gallops all night and never sees the horse that is beneath him.

Haycroft Stables offers a complete range of Equestrian Riding, Boarding, Training and Coaching Services.

An important part of a rider’s training is attention to specific riding technique(s) that improve and master horsemanship. Clinics provide a rider with a more intense and detailed approach to certain aspects of their riding skills, in comparison to general riding lessons.

Haycroft Stables will be offering Clinics in Hunter & Jumper and Dressage disciplines throughout 2005. Please visit our “Clinics” page often for updates on categories and topics of Clinic their dates & times.

Phil Hay, Owner/Trainer/Coach, at Haycroft Stables, is available for individual or group Clinics. To book a Private Clinic with Phil, just call (416) 573-4975 or click on “Contact” and submit a request by e-mail. Clinic arrangements should be 2-3 weeks in advance and can be arranged either at Haycroft Stables or at your facility. Stabling is available for horses on the premises and secure tack & equipment storage is included.

YOUR CLINIC

Haycroft Clinics have one mission:

“Help dedicated riders be the best they can be”

Your clinic begins with an in-depth discussion about your current riding level and where you want to go within the equestrian sport. Once Phil has determined your needs, he will plan out a comprehensive training program and teaching schedule to assist riders to achieve their goals.

Clinics are designed to focus on specific topics related to mastering a more technical approach to equestrian riding. Because each clinic’s focus is based on a specific aspect of riding, each rider gets individual attention and instruction. Riders are given the specific techniques required to achieve success and a chance to perform with the trainer and receive correction and direction to perfect their ride. Students should be aware that “good riders are practiced riders” and therefore, the lessons learned in the clinic will only be perfected by continual practice (after the clinic session) in future rides.

For more information on clinics and off-site coaching contact Phil Hay at phay@haycroft.ca or call (416) 573-4975.
